Amsterdam week by week
At a time when free Dutch papers aimed at sleepy commuters just keep popping up, the Amsterdam Weekly managed to rack up three European Newspaper Awards in December 2006 for the second year in a row.
I was interviewed in September 2006 by the AW about my part as French music DJ for the Serge Gainsbourg evening at Amsterdam’s world famous Paradiso. I basically went on about why the French do things in French and not in English, and why the Dutch don’t get that.
Recently, I’ve started writing small articles for them, usually about anything French, which can be found in the Short List sections.
